We woke up from good dream
had a quick breakfast at 89 Cafe
and set off to Ao Nang!
Barracuda Tour took us on a speed boat together
with about 50 odd tourists (mostly ang moh)...
to relax at the white beach of Bamboo Island...
(bamboo destroyed by the Indian Ocean Tsunami in Dec 2004)
[No Picture]
then a five-minute stop near Viking Cave where locals collect bird nests.
At Lohsamah Bay, the fishes welcomed us as we snorkel with them...
then we made a turn into the beautiful lagoon at Pileh Bay
and there we were at Maya Bay featured in
"The Beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio
[No Picture]
Our guide brought us to Monkey Bay to see a monkey... (-_-''')
We had our buffet lunch break at Ton Sai Bay, Koh Phi Phi Don.

After lunch activity was open sea snorkeling.
The package was booked through Good Dreams at 1200 Baht/pax. This includes transport pick up at and return to your guesthouse/hotel, the tour by speed boat which covers the above mentioned places, snorkeling masks and life vests, buffet lunch, drinks and fruits. Seems like a good deal but I wouldn't really recommend this tour unless you don't mind crowded beaches and sight seeing (from speed boat). In my opinion, Tioman would give you a better snorkeling experience.
We explored Chao Fa Pier road side stalls for dinner options
snacked on the local satay which I felt could be better if cooked longer
and here we ordered fried chicken with basil leaves, fried mixed vegetables and tom yam soup with shrimp... and came fried morning glory (kang kong), fried vegetable with roasted pork and tom yam soup with shrimp.
then it was bargaining at Walking Street
Weekend Night Market (Fri - Sun, 5pm - 10pm)
boys and girls busking in the night market.
