We probably first met in an orientation at SADeaf in 2007. And in the December song signing practices, we noticed each other. On 31st Dec 2007, we recced Bishan for our fund raising projects. She amused me when she said that seeing black cat brings good luck. Many nights we would chat over MSN on random topics. I asked her to be my partner to teach fellow volunteers to sign "Sometimes When We Touch" by Olivia Ong. We visited Changi Airport Terminal 3 when it opened in Jan 2008 and I tested her feelings. We 'celebrated' valentines day with an exchange of cup cakes made by her and sunflower balloon scupture (I got Gerard to make). Later that week, I received confirmation that I was offered a 4-months overseas exchange in Sweden. The best decision I'd made in 2008 was to reject that offer and got together with Qipei.
Moving on to the third year of our relationship, I'm still thankful for the many happy times we've had together and for the love and care she has given me. I know we'll have more great times, especially this March onwards.
